The artist mimicked sounds that she heard in the room with her voice. As she performed, the sounds she made were layered over and over, making the whole sounds more and more intense. The sound was played through the seats of the chairs, which had been transformed into vibrating speakers, so that the audience listened to the sound through their bodies.
